How to Apply:

This year, the application is available online via the SmartSimple platform. Please follow the below instructions to access the application:
  • We advise that ONE contact per collaboration create an account and serve as the primary applicant for the collaboration. The application and other resources are downloadable from the portal and can be shared with collaboration members that way.
  • Register for the Request for Information (RFI) application here. 
  • Once you register, you will receive an email with your log-in information to access the RFI. If you cannot find this email, please check your spam inbox or reach out to Meital Rosenberg at grants@hellmanfoundation.org. 
  • Once you have logged in, you will have access to the application portal which allows you to:
    • Begin your application - you are able to edit and save your application draft as you work on it from within our system.
      • Please note that there are two sections to the RFI application - the eligibility survey and the request for information. You must complete both to submit your RFI.
    • View application resources and detail on the process, previous awardees, and more. 
    • Submit your application - you can submit your application using our system and will receive an email confirmation with a PDF copy of your submission. Applications open March 1, 2019 and are due by 11:59pm April 1, 2019.
